Custom Domain

Send this form's notification emails from your own domain instead of the default forms@staticforms.dev.

Two pages for custom domains

You register and DNS-verify a domain in Workspace → Custom domain (once per workspace). Here in the form editor, you attach a registered domain to a specific form. If you haven't registered any domains yet, this tab shows an empty state that links to the workspace page.

Setup

1

Register a domain in Workspace

Open Workspace → Custom domain and add your domain. Static Forms gives you DNS records to add at your registrar — typically a few TXT and MX records. Once they verify, the domain becomes available across all forms.
2

Open the form's Custom domain tab

The tab shows a domain picker listing every verified domain in your workspace.
3

Select the domain to send from

Submission notifications, auto-replies, and AI replies for this form now use the selected domain as their From address.
4

Optional — override the sender local part

By default the From address uses a sensible default (e.g. forms@yourdomain.com). Set the sender local part field to change the bit before the @ for this form only (e.g. support for support@yourdomain.com).

Tier gating

Custom domains require a Pro plan or higher. On lower tiers the tab shows an upgrade card linking to the pricing page.

What this changes

  • The From header on submission notification emails.
  • The From header on auto-reply and AI reply emails for this form.
  • Improves deliverability when your domain is properly authenticated (SPF, DKIM, DMARC — handled by the DNS records in Workspace setup).
