Account & Billing

Account Settings

Manage your account, API keys, and usage

Your account settings are the control center for profile details, API keys, usage, subscription, email preferences, and advanced paid features.

Accessing Account Settings

To access your account settings:

1

Log in to your Static Forms account at the dashboard.

2

Navigate to Settings

Click on your profile or navigate to Settings from the main menu.

3

Select Section

Choose the section you want to modify (Overview, Subscription, Form Submissions, Webhooks, Branding, and more).

Profile Management

Update your account profile information:

  • Email Address: Your primary email for receiving form submissions
  • Name: Your display name (optional)
  • Password: Change your account password

API Key Management

Manage your API key from the account settings:

Viewing Your API Key

Your API key is displayed in the dashboard and account settings. It's shown as:

sf_abc123def456ghi789jkl012mno345

Regenerating Your API Key

If you need to regenerate your API key:

1

Go to API Key Settings

Navigate to Settings → Overview where your current API key is shown.

2

Click Regenerate

Click the "Regenerate" button and confirm the action.

3

Update All Forms

Update all forms using the old API key with the new one. The old key will immediately stop working.

Important

Regenerating your API key will immediately invalidate the old key. Make sure you have access to update all your forms before regenerating.

Usage & Limits

View your current usage and plan limits in the dashboard:

PlanMonthly EmailsFeatures
Free500Basic features, reCAPTCHA v2, honeypot
Pro25,000Webhooks, file uploads, AI Reply, storage, CC emails, branding controls
Advanced200,000Everything in Pro with higher limits

Checking Your Usage

Your dashboard shows:

  • Current month's email count
  • Remaining emails in your quota
  • When your limit resets (monthly)
  • Your current plan tier

What Happens When You Exceed Limits

If you exceed your monthly email limit without overage billing:

  • Submissions are rejected with a 429 status code
  • Emails are not sent until the limit resets or you upgrade

Pro and Advanced users can enable overage billing to keep email delivery running beyond the monthly quota. Extra emails are billed at the end of the period — no interruption to your forms. See Overage Billing for rates and setup.

Email Preferences

Configure how you receive account and submission emails:

  • Submission Notifications: Enable/disable delivery emails (with Pro + form collection)
  • Product Emails: Opt in or out of marketing updates
  • Branding: Remove Static Forms branding on paid plans in Settings → Branding
